Patient Education

Please use this page to learn about current breast cancer treatments, breast health and integrative therapies. The first information you will see is the National Cancer Institute‘s summary of breast cancer treatment that includes staging information as well as information about surgical treatment, radiation and chemotherapy.

When you reach the end of this information you will find a link to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network‘s breast guidelines for patients. In the US, these are the guidelines your physicians follow in designing your treatment plan.

Next you will see links to the excellent patient resources Dr Deanna Attai has authored and Dr Beth Dupree has authored. Breast health and benign conditions are discussed as well as risk reduction, wellness strategies and integrative therapies.
